The deity of Wisdom we call the planet Uranus, after the ancient sky father. Uranus is the lord of the celestial Water-Carrier, the embodiment of the spirit of the stars. This embracing spirit was portrayed by the Egyptians as the star-bright canopy, the firmament of the heavens, the goddess Nuit. This image was copied by the Greeks for Uranus, the sky. Later the Athenians adopted the deity of Wisdom as Pallas Athenae. The Jews called this spirit Sophia, Wisdom. Sophia has been the Bride of Jehovah from the earliest times. In India, the name of this spirit is again very similar, Shiva, Auspicious One. The Christian Gospels have updated Sophia and translated her as the Holy Spirit.
